In late 2023 people started to notice thath a lot of celebrities were getting very skinny in a short amount of time. It wasn't until early 2024 when people started to pinpoint where this skinniness could've came from: Ozempic, a drug that is used to treat diabetes. People were cracking jokes left and right about this mass consumption of ozempic. People were also very confused, as the body positivity girls from a few years back started to also take ozempic. The issue of many rich and famous people using ozempic even made it onthe news, because some diabetics couldn't get their medication. Skinny was clearly in with the higher ups and ozempic was just the start of it.
